The Olu Olageshin Foundation is proud to officially announce the launch of the Annual Tedder Hall Overall Best Student Scholarship, an initiative designed to recognize and reward academic excellence among students of Lord Tedder Hall, University of Ibadan.
This scholarship, established in honor of distinguished alumnus Olu Olageshin, reflects the foundation’s continued commitment to supporting education and encouraging outstanding academic performance.
Celebrating Excellence
The Annual Tedder Hall Scholarship is aimed at students who demonstrate exceptional academic achievement. By rewarding excellence, the foundation seeks to inspire students to strive for higher standards and remain dedicated to their academic journey.
At the end of each academic session, the top-performing students will be recognized and rewarded as follows:
- First Place: ₦150,000
- Second Place: ₦100,000
Eligibility Criteria
To ensure fairness and maintain the integrity of the scholarship, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Must be a bona fide resident of Tedder Hall
- Must have resided in the hall throughout the academic session
- Must have a CGPA between 3.9 and 4.0
In situations where there is a tie, preference will be given to students who actively participate in hall activities or perform exceptionally well in an aptitude assessment.
